Nagelsmann uses Arsenal's muktu controversial full-back → "To Play A Key Role"

Kai Havertz, who has a transfer fee of more than 100 billion won, is a concern for Arsenal. When he didn't know how to use it, Julian Nagelsmann, the head coach of the German national soccer team, suggested a new plan.

Nagelsmann explained in an interview after the friendly match against Türkiye on the 19th that Havertz's full-back experiment was not a one-off, but a plan in preparation for the Euro finals.

Germany came from behind to lose 2-3 in a friendly match against Türkiye at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany. What drew the most attention in the game was the use of Havertz's left fullback, who is classified as a striker or offensive midfielder.

Before the match, Nagelsmann told Germany's RTL, "Havertz will not always be in this position. He is a very good soccer player. "It's a very good choice and I won't always play as a typical left-back," he said, meaning of the experiment.

Havertz, who was used as a left fullback in the 4-2-2 formation, got off to a good start by scoring the first goal in the first seven minutes of the first half. After the free-kick, he stayed in the box and pushed a cut-back pass following Sané's penetration.

However, Havertz committed a handball foul in the 23rd minute of the second half when it was 2-2 and made an error leading to Yusuf Sarri's winning goal. It was a friendly match and an unconventional experiment, so a decisive mistake at one point remained a regret.

But in the overall play, Havertz appeared to get a pass from Nagelsmann. Nagelsmann said in an interview with RTL after the game, "Havertz said, 'I want to do it, I want to try it.' I didn't see a dangerous scene in him. "But I've identified a really, really big opportunity to play a key role in the Euros," he said. "For the first time in my career, I played an unfamiliar position and he did very well and he was our best player."

Nagelsmann took over as national team manager in September after his former coach Hanji Click was replaced for the first time in German football history after a 1-4 defeat in a friendly against Japan.

Nagelsmann began a new experiment in November to produce results in the country's hosting of the Euro with only nine months left. In an away friendly match between North Korea and the U.S. in October, Flick's previous 4-2-3-1 screening was used to check the players in the current national team pool.

But before Türki, Nagelsmann brought up his favorite 4-2-2 model. He placed attacking midfielder Julian Brandt next to typical frontline striker Niklas Fülcrug and chose Leroy Sane and Florian Birz as the second line flanking midfielders. Joshua Kimmich and Ilkay Günd이ᅀᆫan connected defense and attack in the third line.

Naturally, Havertz's place disappeared. Havertz stood out as a second-line or front-line striker when he was in Leverkusen, but after Chelsea, he mainly plays the role of "Mejala (midfielder who tends to attack among the three midfielders)" in Arsenal. He was transferred to Arsenal for a fee of 65 million pounds (about 105 billion won), but Arsenal fans are just sighing as his value has not yet come out.

It is expected to be an important turning point in his career as Nagelsmann uses Havertz, who has a strong offensive tendency, as a fullback. Furthermore, it is a big challenge for the coach and the player himself that Euro Havertz, a major tournament, plays at fullback,

For now, Nagelsmann will direct a friendly match against Austria at Ernst Hafeelstadion in Vienna, Austria, on the 22nd. Attention is focusing on whether Havertz's full-back deployment will be attempted once again in this game. 스포츠토토사이트
